The flexible current sensor allows for alternating current measurements from any installation with full rejection of DC components, low power consumption, no saturation issues, low temperature dependence, and excellent linearity. Based on the Rogowsky coil principle, this flexible sensor measures alternating current regardless of the conductor's position. For accuracy, the current conductor should not be close to the coil cable joint, as error increases in this area. A centered conductor location also minimizes the influence of external magnetic fields. The sensor’s flexibility allows it to encircle one or more conductors of any shape for current measurements.
These flexible current sensors are specifically designed for use with the MYeBOX-150 and MYeBOX-1500 portable power analysers.
