Line-EDS-PS Gateway

Description

The Line-EDS-PS is a gateway with PowerStudio embedded. This module enables the setup of a supervisory and telemanagement (SCADA) system. Using the expansion modules of the line range or any Modbus (TCP or RTU) device on the market, it can integrate any process signal to be measured.

With PowerStudio programming, the device allows the creation of automated management systems by incorporating actuating logic for analog or digital outputs, performing actions based on input signals.

The device supports both wired (Ethernet) and wireless (Wi-Fi) connections. Data displays, screens, and reports can be accessed via the PowerStudio client or a web browser, thanks to the integrated web server.

Models and Capabilities

The PSS and PSS PRO variants allow programming of screens and reports, creating a SCADA system with a single device, without requiring PCs, servers, or licenses.

Applications

The PowerStudio environment enables quick integration of numerous applications. Examples include:

• Electricity consumption monitoring with active alarm management via e-mail (cos φ, maximum power, harmonics, etc.), sectorization of consumption, load management, invoice simulation, allocation of production costs, etc.
• Efficient management of systems through hourly schedules (HVAC, lighting, etc.).
• Efficient management of HVAC systems by regulating supply setpoints.
• Control of pumping systems.
• Monitoring of industrial processes.
• Management of multipoint consumption (electricity, water, gas, etc.).
• Analysis of equipment performance (compressed air, HVAC, etc.).
